This mounting bracket is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use mounting microwave ovens to walls. The mounting bracket attaches the microwave to studs in the wall to hold it above the countertop. Mounting the microwave on a wall frees up counter space and puts the microwave at eye level, making it easier to see the contents inside when cooking. The mounting bracket is designed to hold the weight of the microwave but should be installed in studs to make sure the microwave does not fall. Locate the studs in the wall before installation. The ideal location will have an electrical outlet close enough to reach without having to install a new outlet. Mark the stud locations and use the mounting bracket template to line up the holes. Install the mounting bracket to the studs in the wall. Position the microwave on the brackets and secure it to the bracket with the fasteners in the mounting bracket hardware package.
