This is a throttle lever that is used in many types of lawn and garden equipment. It is one of the components in the throttle assembly. The purpose of the throttle lever is to stop the engine whenever the user moves the lever into the full choke position. Sometimes, wear and tear or damage can cause issues with the throttle lever. If the lever is broken, it may not be possible to move the component, and it will need to be replaced. Excessive dirt and debris can also cause issues with the throttle lever. If the throttle lever needs to be replaced, pliers and a screwdriver will be needed for the process. The first step is to remove the throttle assembly and the cable attachment on the clutch. Take the cable out of the throttle lever before removing the lever itself.
