This is the upper motor housing shell for a stand mixer, finished in metallic chrome. It covers and protects the internal motor and gearing components while giving the mixer its exterior appearance. Replace this housing if it is cracked, chipped, or cosmetically damaged, or if the housing no longer fits securely onto the mixer body.
