This is a control board intended for use with refrigerators. It is an integral part of the appliance that controls many of the components inside the refrigerator, such as the fans and compressor. It collects information from all the sensors in the appliance, such as how often the doors are opened and how long the compressor runs. If the control board is damaged, it may cause cooling issues, erratic behavior, or prevent the refrigerator from working.To replace the control board, make sure the refrigerator is powered off for safety. A basic set of tools and work gloves will be needed for the process. Remove the cover for the control board and detach the wires so the original control board can be taken off the appliance. Install the new control board, lock the tabs, and connect the wires.
