This control shield is a protective trim piece that mounts behind the control console to shield electronics and switches from heat, spills and grease. It helps preserve the range/stove control board and maintains safe operation. What it does:

• Shields the control console and electronic components from heat and cooking splatter
• Helps prevent premature wear or heat-related damage to switches and the control board
• Restores proper fit/finish to the console area when the original shield is cracked, warped or missing
• Commonly replaced when the console shows burn marks, melted plastic or when controls become exposed
