The Spark Module is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool ranges. It is an electrical component that generates the spark needed to ignite the gas burners. By sparking consistently and reliably, the module allows the cooktop burners to ignite with each use. 

Causes of a bad spark module can include normal wear and tear over time, exposure to moisture or residue, or issues with the electronic components that produce the spark.

Symptoms of a bad spark module include:

• Burners that will not ignite or light consistently  
• Burners that ignite but then immediately go out
• Only some of the burners lighting while others do not
• A clicking sound coming from the ignitors but no visible spark

This OEM Whirlpool replacement spark module is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models. 

This heat shield protects oven or range components from direct heat, helping prevent damage to nearby panels and wiring. It's a direct-replacement exterior shield used when existing metal shields are warped, cracked, or missing. What it does:

• Diverts and dissipates heat away from control panels, insulation, or adjacent components
• Helps stop heat-related discoloration, warping, or premature wear of nearby parts
• Restores proper clearance and airflow around the oven cavity after shield damage
• Commonly replaced when you see scorched areas, melted trim, or gaps where a shield once sat

• One heat shield (exact shape and mounting holes as shown in OEM diagram)

• Disconnect electrical power (and gas, if applicable) before starting any repair
• Remove oven racks and any trim panels to access the shield; keep track of fasteners
• Compare the replacement to the removed part to confirm fit before fastening
• If mounting hardware is damaged or missing, procure correct OEM fasteners — only the shield is guaranteed to ship

This electronic control board manages the oven/range functions and user controls so the appliance responds to button presses and follows programmed bake/ignite cycles. Replaces a failed control board to restore normal control and timing functions. What it does:

• Receives input from the console and operates bake/broil/ignition sequences
• Controls timers, display readouts, and user-command processing
• Can cause blank display, unresponsive touchpad/buttons, or failure to start heating/ignite when faulty
• Re-establishes proper control logic and signal routing when replaced

• Disconnect power and turn off gas supply before starting any repairs
• Handle the board by the edges and avoid static discharge; wear an ESD strap if available
• Reassemble panels and restore power/gas only after connections are secure; test all functions per the service manual

• Sends spark when a burner control is turned to Lite
• Failure symptoms can include no spark on all or multiple burners

• Note wire locations; move one connector at a time to matching terminals
