The Display Board is an OEM part for GE window air conditioners. It is the integrated circuit board that houses and controls the digital display interface.

The display board governs the unit's visual temperature readout, clock, timers, and other informational screens. It receives signals from the main control board on runtime data and operational settings to present to the user via the easy-to-read display.

Symptoms of a bad display board include:

  • Blank or unlit display screen
  • Glitchy, inaccurate, or unchanging readings
  • Inoperable control buttons below the display
  • Temperature readings not matching the actual room conditions
  • The ability to view settings or clock functions disabled

Causes can be related to damaged integrated circuits, faulty LCD screen pixels, or corrosion of delicate electronics.

This OEM GE replacement display board is also compatible with some Hotpoint, RCA, and Kenmore air conditioner models.

This indoor air thermistor is a refrigerator air temperature sensor that helps the control board monitor cabinet temperature for proper cooling performance. Replacing a failing thermistor restores accurate temperature sensing to help prevent spoilage and cycling issues. What it does:

  • Senses interior air temperature and sends temperature signals to the fridge control board
  • Helps the compressor and fans run at the correct times for stable cooling
  • Commonly associated with symptoms like warm or fluctuating temperatures, excessive cycling, or cooling that never reaches the set point
  • Works as part of the temperature control system—faulty sensors can cause incorrect defrost or cooling behavior
What's included: One indoor air thermistor sensor Install notes:
  • Disconnect power to the appliance before accessing or replacing the sensor
  • Handle the sensor lead and element carefully to avoid damage; avoid pulling on wires
  • Reinstall in the original location and routing; secure connectors fully to ensure good electrical contact

This main control board is the refrigerator's primary electronic controller, managing settings, cycles and user inputs so the appliance runs as commanded. Replacing a faulty board restores normal electronic control and display operation. What it does:

  • Receives and processes inputs from the user interface and sensors to control compressor, fans, defrost and other functions
  • Manages timed cycles and relays to coordinate cooling and defrost sequences
  • Can stop erratic or non-responsive electronic controls, displays, or failure-to-start symptoms
  • Helps resolve intermittent operation, no-display or control lockup when the board is confirmed faulty
What's included:
  • One main control board (electronic PCB) as pictured
Install notes:
  • Power off and unplug the appliance before replacing the board to avoid shock or damage
  • Handle the board by the edges and avoid touching components to prevent ESD damage
  • Some installations require removing interior panels or the control housing; keep screws and connectors organized
