This throttle assembly cable is manufactured by Craftsman, but also used by Poulan, to regulate the flow of fuel to certain small gasoline-powered engines. This assembly houses the throttle trigger that is used by almost a dozen different machines, including not only trimmers, but also pole saws and other small gasoline-powered tools. Apart from the cutting edges of the pole saws and trimmers, the parts of these devices that sees the most wear and tear, and is most likely to fail, are the throttle assemblies.
