This inlet hose connects the home's water supply to the appliance, providing a reliable path for water to enter the unit so it can fill and operate properly. Replaces a worn, cracked, or leaking inlet hose to restore proper water flow. What it does:

• Carries incoming water from the household supply to the appliance's fill valve
• Helps the washer/dishwasher fill to the correct level for normal operation
• Commonly replaced when you see water leaks, visible cracking, or reduced fill
• Can prevent water damage and restore normal fill performance when failed

• Shut off the water supply and unplug the appliance before beginning any work
• Inspect and replace any damaged O-rings or seals; hand-tighten fittings and avoid over-tightening
• After installation, turn the water back on and check all connections for leaks during a test fill

Replace this assembly if the washer won't start, displays a door lock error code, the door won't lock or unlock, or the cycle stops unexpectedly.

Symptoms of a bad clamp include:

• Water leaking from hose connections
• Hoses coming loose or detaching during operation
• Visible rust or damage on the clamp
• Poor water flow or pressure issues

This OEM LG part is also compatible with Sears/Kenmore models.
