This is the small motor assembly that opens and closes the ice chute door on the refrigerator's dispenser. It activates when the dispenser lever is pressed, allowing ice to pass through, and closes afterward to keep cold air from escaping. Replace this part if the ice chute door does not open when dispensing, stays stuck open allowing cold air to leak out, or makes grinding noises during operation.
Color: black. Chrome Is No longer Available. Measures about 6-1/2 inches wide by 3-1/2 inches deep.
