How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP5263691 / 00610087 Hinge Cable

I found a broken rope connector for the spring, watched a few videos on your website on how to replace the part, ordered the part and replaced. Door fixed. 

After seeing the repair video about replacing the spring and hinge cable, I checked, and my problem was that both hinge cables were broken. I then ordered two springs and a pair of hinge cables from appliancepartpros.com (since it was their video that convinced me how easy it would be to do. When the parts arrived later that week, I did the repair (took about 10 minutes) and now the door is better than it has been in over a year (looking back, I clearly had one broken for a long time before the other one broke--in the future, I'll do this repair earlier). 

Watched one of your videos, consulted with one of your customer service reps, ordered the parts, showed up sooner than projected, installed as directed. Easy pesy. 

Replaced the hinge cable and door spring. Previously, the parts weren’t available, but fortunately AppliancePartsPros.com now stocks them. 

Looked up on YouTube how to fix it. Ordered parts and installed. 

We replaced the spring the retainer and the hinge cable. 

Order parts with assistance - pulled out Diswasher and easily replaced parts 

Brute force and youtube. 

Followed online instructions. 

Our Bosch dishwasher door hinge cable was broken, so the door would drop like a guillotine any time it was opened. The inset handle was also cracked/broken...more an aesthetic issue than functional. The Hinge issue had occurred before and we hired a repair person to fix it....the fix only lasted a year and again the door was broken. Didn't feel like paying a repairman to "fix" it again so I tried the appliancepartspros route. Come to find out the first repair used a cheap part...the spring had a plastic end that had broken. I ordered both the spring and the hinge cable. I only had to replace one spring and hinge cable. The video made the repair easy...I was done in 15 minutes.
