How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP2826720 / 00367648 Bake Element

Bought new element and replace old one. Installation was straight forward, no problems encounter! 

Took the old element out and order a replacement. The Thermador oven required the side shelve for the rack and the plate at the back covering the induction fan to all be removed to get at the element screws. But that was a pretty simple 8 screws to remove to replace the element. 

Job was fairly easy. Took about 30 minutes. Had to remove the back wall of the oven in order to remove the element wire plate. Having a clean oven first is helpful. 

I replaced them myself. Great parts, so far. 

We ordered a new bake element from AppliancePartsPros.com. Did a google search on our Thermador Oven model, and this popped up. We watched the online repair video, which made the repair look easy enough. Ordered the part, it came 3 days later. Shut the oven down at the breaker box. We had to remove a plate over the fan on the back of the oven, but that only took a few extra minutes. Carefully pulled the old element and wires out from the back, removed the old element, attached the new element, screwed the new element in, replaced the plate over the fan, and turned it on. Works great! We are so happy to have had the ability to locate the part and review the video for repair. This made us confident we could fix it ourselves, and save us hundreds of dollars on calling a repair place! 

Drove around town for 3 hours trying to find a replacement. No luck. Ordered from ApplicancePartsPros.com at 3:00 PM. Did NOT pay extra for fast shipping. The part arrived FedEx ground the next morning at 9:00 AM, Amazing! Installed in a few minutes. Works like new, 

Put a new one in. 

I watched the video on how to replace the heating element to confirm that this was definitely a do-it-yourself project, and ordered the appropriate replacement for my Thermador oven. It was delivered the next morning. I installed in in 20 minutes, faster than calling a repairman, cheaper, and I impressed my wife. 

Turned off circuit breaker to oven. Removed all racking from oven. Used screwdriver to remove side racks. Used screwdriver to remove damaged bake element, carefully unplugged two feed wires. Plugged in new bake element, screwed in place. Replaced all racking. Circuit breaker on. Wahhhooooo! Total time 10 minutes. 

I ordered two bake elements from Appliance Parts. They arrived within five days, and I was able to install them myself. My ovens are now working like new.
