How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP4434739 / 00676960 Control Board

Website video showed perfectly how to remove and replace old Control Board.. 1st cycle with the new control showed various "E" and "H" codes, flashing indicator lights, and unresponsive buttons. Letting it "finish" (15 or 20? minutes), I opened the door, saw nothing had happened, reclosed the door, turned it off, waited a few seconds, turned it back on and it ran normally. 

Followed your excellent step by step video instructions. Wow, they were perfect and allowed me to follow along as I took apart the dishwasher, removed the old part and install the new one I ordered from you. Reassembeld the diswasher, started it, and it now performs like new! I receive the part within two day, Excellent customer service! 

Removed and replaced the control board using the Appliance Parts video. 

We replaced the control board with a video from Appliance Pros. The dishwasher works fine now. 

After doing a few minutes of research online, I suspected that the Bosch dishwasher was running a very extended period, due to it not sensing that the water was reaching a minimum temperature. The likely cause was a bad control board. After ordering this replacement part, I watch a tutorial video, on the installation. Repair took about 30 minutes, and the dishwasher is working like it should. Further inspection of the old control board showed that the relay controlling the heating element, had failed. 

Read several appliance repair forums and determined it was the control board. 

I diagnosed the problem as the Control Board. I used the Appliance Parts Pro system to find the right Control Board for my brand and model and ordered a new one. It arrived in a couple days. I watched the video provided by the Appliance Parts Pros website. My Bosch dishwasher was exactly the same as the Video. The new Control Board matched the old one perfectly and the replacement process went smoothly. The new Control Board worked fine and the dishwasher does all the proper functions now - all the cycles work just like it was a new machine. Later, I took the old Control Board apart and found a burned area on the circuit board - apparently the power failure and restart caused a surge that fried the board and melted the solder in one spot. 

I am now an official repair man. After checking other possibilies, I narrowed the problem to the control board. It was a bit more difficult than the video portrayed, and it took a bit longer than anticipated, but in the end, it worked! The part arrived even ahead of time and was exactly as pictured. We had taken a picture of the old part before we unplugged it, and that turned out to be very helpful when plugging in the new part. I had called your parts department to order the part, and the lady answering my call also was a lot of help. Our dishwasher is nine years old and it would not have been worth it to call a service professional to install it because the service call plus the part would have cost half as much as I had paid for the dishwasher originally. So, thank you very much for providing this parts service.
