The Control Board is an OEM part for Bosch dishwashers. It is the central electronic component responsible for operating and controlling all dishwasher functions. The control board receives input signals, processes commands, and directs the operation of wash cycles, motors, heating elements, and other electrical systems.

Symptoms of a bad control board can include:

  • The dishwasher is not starting or finishing cycles properly
  • Lights, displays, or touchpads not working correctly
  • Strange noises coming from the dishwasher interior
  • Inability to change programs or select desired cycle settings

Causes of control board failure may be due to electrical issues such as power surges, shorts, or general circuit malfunctions that can interfere with board operation over time.

This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore models.

Questions & Answers

For Bosch Control Board (Part Number: OEM13304226)

1 Answer

Lori, you will want to check the wire box on the bottom right of the dishwasher base and ensure that there is a verified 120VAC at the black wire. If there is 120VAC and both black wires are connected securely, then you will want to trace it through the on/off switch 00424410 to the control and test for 120VAC at the switch when turned on and at the control control. If there is 120VAC at the control 00676960 with the switch turned on, then the control is bad. If the switch does not allow 120VAC to get to the control when turned on, then the switch is bad.

Ejaz, more than likely you have a burning connection at the control board 00661682. You will want to disconnect power to the unit and open up the panel to ensure that this is where the burning is occurring. If there are no visible burn marks, there should at least be the burn smell being strongest at the point of origin.

Bruce, This C1 error would normally be in the diagnostic mode and not an error code. If this is coming up in normal operation then this would most likely be a faulty control board.

Fred, Unfortunately we do not have any information on the indicator light that is next to the display. This may be on just during operation.

Gt for Model Number SHE4AP06UC/06

here it is again, this time with Model#: My Bosch dishwasher SHE 4AP06UC/06 runs for about 1 minute, you can hear the motor humming, then stops and shows CLEAN. No water. If I open the door 3 times and restart the machine after 30-40 seconds each time, then I hear the water and machine goes thru all cycles. Still does not dry the dishes. Sometimes...not always...at the end leaves dirty water on the bottom. I have to lift the flapper on the bottom of machine, hear the click and the water drains fast. There are no obstructions anywhere, hoses, filter, etc. What might be the problem?

Gt, From what you are telling me the unit will run and at some point all the functions work.Fill, drain wash, etc. You must have a faulty control possibly sticking or faulty relay and when restarting your resetting the control.Part # 00701523 is your control and is located on the lower back of the base plate on the right side if your looking at the unit.

GT, Based on your post description we believe you have a faulty power module located in the base of the dishwasher on the right hand side. "Wash cycle abruptly ends with Clean LED glowing OR D/W runs without heating > pump starting / switching defect OR defective working relay OR (heating problem) defective heating relay > replace power module (located in base) 00701523 control. " I have to lift the flapper on the bottom of machine, hear the click and the water drains fast." By activating the "flood" switch assembly, The control activates the drain pump automatically, to clear/remove any water in the tub and keep the dishwasher from flooding the kitchen/house.

Hello Jon. You will need to check and see if the unit is leaking under the bottom. If so, it will cause this condition. Thank you.
