I bought the control board, watched the Youtube video, opened up the unit, snapped out the old one, and snapped in the new one. Almost as easy as that. Two minor problems: First: I didn't look first, and the video didn't mention that some models (mine) have star-head secure bit screws. Second: the tabs that hold the control board into the housing aren't quite visible from the front -- at least not so I could figure out what to press. So I took the back off the housing in addition to the front. A few more screws and minutes. Total time, not including searching for my selection of star bits, was about 30 minutes. The repair shop quoted $880!!!.
