How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP4369140 / 00615352 Endcap

Had to replace the lower door seal as well so this was a matter of removing the handle and refitting the caps. Once the door skin was removed, took 3 minutes to do. 

Tested the heater coil...good continuity....the only thing left is the control module as it control the heater coil. Replaced the control module and problem was fixed. 

Had to remove the inside panel of the door unit, remove the big screw on the right side of the handle and put that screw back through the new plastic cap, then put back the back panel on the door. 

Found a Youtube video filmed by your company that showed exactly how to do the repair. Took about 15 minutes, but mostly because I could not get the door front to slide back correctly right away. Correct part and easy fix. 

I looked up the parts on your site ordered them and received them in 2 days. I removed the screws on the inside of the door which released the exterior panel. I removed the top faceplate to expose the button controls. The new On/off button snapped into place easily. The new end cap fit on the end of the handle and screwed it in from the backside of the exterior panel. I put the panel back and replaced the screws. Then I put the faceplate back over the controls, replaced 3 screws and I was done. It probably took 20 minutes beginning to end. 

Got with AppliancePartsPros and found the hard to find part and it was shipped to me! 

Ordered two because I've been around for a while. When they arrived I checked your website to see how to replace them. Unscrewed the inside panel, removed handle. (second spacer broke at this time. Cheap plastic doesn't last forever.) Replaced both spacers when I put the handle back on. Replaced inside panel. (that part sucked, not designed for home assembly) Handle is fine now. 

Took off the cover (simple). Placed the endcaps on the original handle and remounted the handle to the cover. Then we remounted the cover. 

Shortly after we moved into our house (10 years ago), one of the endcaps broke on our dishwasher. We just lived with a handle that was loose, even though it was a huge annoyance. It seemed like a big job because replacing it required removing the inside panel on the dishwasher, and even though I was confident I could get it apart, getting things back together is always the harder task. So the handle finally came completely off on one side, and we realized that the other endcap was cracked, too. I watched the AppliancePartsPros.com video on replacing the handle, and it seemed pretty straightforward. The parts arrived quickly, and following the video was pretty easy. I just wish I had done it sooner! It did require a somewhat specialized bit for the screwdriver. 

I had to remove the inner panel by removing 9 screws, removed screws holding handle, replaced endcaps and replaced screws holding handle. Reinstalled inner panel and screws. Done!
