How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP4369140 / 00615352 Dishwasher Door Handle End Cap Silver

I had little hope of finding this endcap as the dishwasher it fits on is now 9 years old and likely has been updated during that time. Not to fear though... much to my delight I was able to find the part on AppliancePartsPros.com in less than 5 minutes! Better yet...it is sized and fits exactly as expected! Installing it will be a less joyful experience, as it involves taking the front exterior panel off of the dishwasher, but it is certainly a manageable task. 

Easy - bought low-cost replacement parts from AppliancePartsPros.com - the parts showed up just a few days later. I went on YoutTube and AppliancePartsPros.com had a perfect YouTube video for the exact repair I needed to do. SUPER EASY! 

I am a 70 year old grandma. I watched the video on the website. Very clear instructions. I had a bit of a problem getting the old one out as it didn't pop out easily as in the video. After prying a bit it came out and I was able to install the new one without any problem. Very happy to have saved a lot of money doing this myself. Thanks for the great instructions.

Got the part from you, took the door apart and replaced the broken part. Worked fine. 

The repair was remarkably simple. Using a Torx driver on a screwdriver I removed the ten screws that hold the stainless steel front panel in place. Before removing the screws, I supported the front panel on two stacks of books while the door was in the down position. After the ten screws are removed, the front panel drops down and allows easy access to the two screws that hold the handle in place. I removed these and then reassembled the handle using two new end caps. Then I realigned the front panel and reattached it to the front door with the ten screws. It worked great. 

Took off the door, removed the handle and replaced the endcaps. 

The easiest part was finding, ordering, and receiving the replacement part from Appliance Parts Pros! After that it was find a weird hex-type screwdriver versus a simple Phillips or flathead. Then it was remove the entire door facade just to access the two handle screws. Seriously, many thanks Appliance Parts Pros...it was a perfect OEM part. 

Popped the wheels right on the rack. For the handle accessed the handle screw by removing screws on front of washer door. 

Remove screws on inside of door. Take door apart and remove screw From end cap. Replace new end cap put door together and replace screws.
