How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP4397877 / 00611981 Tine Row Holder

Watched your video. Very helpful! Parts arrived very quickly. 

Ordered part from you - watched install video & all went well. 

I ordered parts from AppliancePartsPros.com and wantched YouTube videos. Pulling out the dishwasher took a while since there were more screws holding it in place than I expected. The new parts worked great. 

Just snapped into place. 

New clips. 

Now that I am the chief cook, bottle washer, and repair person in our household, I have had to develop my repair skills. I found that one of the holders was missing so I ordered all of the parts associated with the racks just in case one of the original parts was broken and I didn't catch it! 

The adjustable rack piece attached to the main part of the rack with 3 clips. I had the larger one on the side of the basket, & ordered the other 2 when I ordered the rack. I took the basket out of the dishwasher, so it was easier to work on. It was pretty simple to attach, although I had to take the main clip off the rack to attach the side arm of the adjustable piece & then reattach. Also I was a little stumped at first as to how the smaller clips I ordered attached to the rack. Each way I tried to connect them between the basket & the adjustable piece it was too loose. Luckily, the upper rack had an adjustable piece with the same type of clips & I could see how it attached in a “cross” pattern on top of the basket. 

One of my dish holders was loose in my Bosch dishwasher. I looked at the other rail and saw a connector that was not on the loose rail. I searched on line and found the same connector on your site. I ordered it I installed it when it came all is fine now. 

Ordered part. Installed. Fixed. Shipping costs were 3x the coat of part 

Replaced it.
