How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3874704 / 316418735 Clock Timer

I called Appliance Parts Pros and told them the code. They told me what the problem was. I ordered the Clock/Timer and received it a few days later. It took less than ten minutes to repair it. This was the most trouble free repair experience I have ever had. I removed the 4 control knobs loosened 4 nuts and removed the panel. I replaced the Clock/Timer and reinstalled the panel and it is working like a charm. 

After research and prayer I ordered the parts I believe correct. The no hassle return option helped my confidence to move forward. The parts arrived when promised and I began to remove an old part and install the new one so that I hooked the electrical properly. It must have worked since it all became operational when the stove was plugged back in. Amazing! 

Googled my appliance model for parts and after looking at several sites, came across appliance pros website. Looked through parts of appliance and found 2 conttollers. That's when live help became my savior. Ordered part, overnight tome,watched online demo video, and 15 minutes later appliance was fixed.o 

I called an appliance repairman who told me the clock/time control unit was bad. He quoted me $500 for parts & labor to fix it. I asked if I could replace the part myself. He said sure. With the model # I ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pro. It cost $240. Replacing the control new unit took me about 15 minutes. Everything works great now. 

Looked on the internet to determine the F13 error message and ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pros, viewed the video on how to replace the clock/timer. Very simple repair for the do-it-yourselfer. 

Installed new Clock/timer. That fixed it!!!

Frigidaire range - Broiler didn't work. Checked element - about 20 ohms (OK). Problem was oven control unit. Access was difficult - slide-in range so controller was in front. Five wires, four connectors and two ribbon connectors. The ribbon connectors were a challenge - needed magnifying glass and good eyes. New controller fixed problem. 

Looked on line to find others with the same problem. Determined what to replace and contacted ApplianceParts and ordered part. 

Replaced the Clock/timer since the element tested OK Easy fix. Much easier than the video.
