Joe D San Diego , CA May 01, 2015 F10 code Tried to replace the temperature probe first without testing with ohm meter; decided to take a chance. I then ordered the EOC timer/oven control. Now works great and also gained the seconds timer along with minute timer that was not stock with the first timer. Happy man; didn't have to pay the labor to install the parts, the videos gave me the confidence that I could complete the repair. Omar N Fort Worth , TX October 18, 2016 Appliance: Frigidaire Electric Range FEFB79GBB Bake element not heating! I first tested the temperature sensor and baking element with an ohmmeter. After confirming both were good I ordered a control panel from Appliance Parts Pros. I had a question about the part since it looked different from my OEM. The agent I chatted with online was super helpful and patient! It was determined that the part I received was just an updated, universal piece for Electrolux and Frigidaire. I replaced the panel and now my oven heats just fine!! The only part of the install I was at all worried about was reusing the overlay from my bad panel and putting it on my new panel. It was surprisingly easy! Read More... 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers

Greg M Chapin , SC May 11, 2020 Not holding temperature I had to replace both the T-stat probe and the control board. I may have been able to only replace the control board, since the T-stat probe tested ok with my multi-meter, but I went ahead and replaced both since I did not have a way to test the T-stat at higher temps.
