Edward O Powell , OH February 02, 2015 Dishes and glassware not being cleaned and leaving gritty substance on surface I replaced the Heating and drying element in the dishwasher because the old one was completely caked with calcium deposits. I tried to clean the old element with CLR, etc. It did not work. Replacing the element worked perfectly and the dishwasher was saved for under $50.
