How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4424048 / 154665201 Heating Element

I replaced all three. Fortunately, I only had to removed the water line to slide the unit out to disconnect the heater wires. It's working perfectly now. 

The service was prompt, the video gave excellent instructions, my dishwasher now heats! 

I replaced it with a new one. 

Timer would stick at 7 o’clock position and never advance. New timer over $300, but checked heater element and found it bad, thermostat also bad which caused failure. Repair took about an hour because it was much easier to remove washer from counter to do it. Had it turned out to be the timer it would be at the dump now as I could get a washer for what the timer costs. 

Verify model info. Ordered parts. Great parts Web site. Also checked Youtube has repair site with simple instructions and photo . 

I assumed element needed replacement so I ordered a new one from AppliancePartsPro.com. When I removed lower front panel I found out the element was not plugged in! Reattached connector and now dishwasher is working. I will need to return new element for a refund. Hoping return will go as quickly as order. Thank you, Stan H. 

Replaced the old element with the one I ordered from appliance parts pro. 

Removed and replaced the heating element without sliding out the dishwasher. Very tight space and some scratches on the arms but, worth it because the water was plumbed in copper tubing. The new spay arm popped right on. Everything worked perfectly. Thanks for the videos!
