How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4368376 / 318024741 Hinge

Replaced both hinges. I found that they were both sprung and causing the door to close crookedly. After the repair, the door closed better than it ever had. I bought the oven from Sears as a customer return, but didn't notice the door problem until years later. It just got worse with time. I am hopeful that the F1 problem will not return. 

Decided to replace both of them while I had the door apart, After reading the other comments and advice on your site, it was an easy fix! It probably took 30 minute and that included cleaning the inside of the glass on the oven door while it was apart. Parts arrived in 2 days. very pleased with your company !! Thanks

Replaced hinge assemblies and re-installed the door. 

Went on line to find parts. Found your online warehouse, called for help, professionally handled by answering person, parts arrived next day! Fit in beautifully! Door works and looks better than ever! Thank you! Steve Clausen 

Had parts overnighted, received them 18 hours later. An easy DIY project that took maybe 15 minutes to replace the hinges. I replaced both for good measure. Took longer to clean the glass than disassemble and reassemble. A Phillips head driver is the only tool needed. 

Ordered a new hinge, pulled the door off the oven, installed the new hinge. It took less than 10 minutes. 

It took only 2 minutes to remove the oven door by locking the oven door hinges as directed in an online video. After locking the hinges simply pull the door up & out. Place the door on a stable flat surface ( I used the kitchen countertop with a towel and piece of cardboard to protect the counter). Remove the screws from around the sides of the oven door and the door comes apart . The hinge is quickly and easily replaced. The oven door glass can be readily cleaned before reassembling the door. Once the oven door is reassembled, slide the door hinges back into the door slots. Now the locking levers can be released and the door works like new. Time of repair including cleaning glass was about 20 minutes.

Got required parts quickly from AppliancePartsPros.com. One hinge bad, but replaced both. While door was all apart, cleaned all the glass as it was mostly exposed. Spent more time on the glass than the hinges.
