How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP7017394 / 5304527930 Refrigerator User Interface Control Board

Replaced interface unit.. 

Ordered the user interface assy. 

After checking, I narrowed the scope to the evaporator fan and the main control board. I replaced the fan and still had the same issue, then I moved to the main board and that resolved my issue. It was a very easy job.

Replaced both parts. 

Replaced the interface and the module. 

Replaced the user interface display with a replacement unit. Very easy fix to swap out the interface display - total of 4 screws. Took 10 minutes to replace. 

Replaced the interface panel 

After completely taking icemaker apart and defrosting the rear unit it still didn't work. Put it back together and had to disconnect the icemaker plug because motor would run when door was closed. Replaced the display unit and it solved the problem. Icemaker is working now. Refridge is 10 yrs old 

I ordered a new user interface from AppliancePartsPros.com and that was the problem. Now my refrigerator is working just fine.
