How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2030974 / WB44K5018 Oven Bake Element

The repair was easy. Just unscrew the old one and removed and being careful not to loose the wires in back. Plugged new element into wires and screwed the holder back in place. Everything is working great. Thanks Appliance Parts Pros. 

Ordered replacement part from AppliancePartsPros. Replacement received two days latter. Removed burned out unit and installed replacement. Perfect fit and unit works as expected. 

Watched video your video and followed the extremely detailed instructions. Replaced the old with the new one in just a few minutes. 

Replacement element ordered from Appliancepartspros.com and installed. So simple, I was able to walk my wife through it over the phone and she never missed a beat getting it done in less than 10 minutes. Shipping was quick and easy. 

Replaced oven element. 

Did an online chat and the lady was able to help me interpret the model number, locate the correct part and order. Part arrived and thanks to the online video tutorial I removed the old one, installed the new one and the oven works perfect, once again! 

Replaced the heating element 

I unscrewed it from stove and disconnected it and put the new one back in. It worked really well. We had a nice Thanksgiving dinner. Thank you. 

Replaced the element - Never done it before - pretty easy - forgot to turn off power ( make sure you turn off power ) had a nice little arch that spotted my eyes for a sec 

Changed out element.
