Russell January 06, 2021 for Model Number JTP14WV1WW Oven does not heat. I put in a new baking element. It still does not heat. What could be the problem now?
1 Answer Russell, it is recommended that the oven terminal block is tested to ensure there is 240VAC being supplied to the oven. If there is proper voltage, and there is not a broken wire, then the failure would be in the main control WB27K5195. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has discontinued this part and it is no longer available. Read More...
Russell Hansen January 06, 2021 for Model Number JTP14WVIWW The Bake Element is burned out. I have a new one to use for replacement. When I disconnected the old element there are two wires coming out of the back, one red & one yellow. They are very close together. Does the red wire connect to the left connector on the bake element as you face the back of the oven?
1 Answer Russell, It will not matter which side plugs into which because they are both 120 Vac Feed to the element. Read More...

Serial number is TR685126Q I think. Looking for the baking element on the bottom of oven. Original part number I believe is WB44K5018. Approximately 18" wide and 15 1/4" deep. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. I can email or text pictures of items if that would help.

Lee February 18, 2016 for Model Number J D12A1WH We have a wall-insert oven from the '60s and it is finally starting to begin to have a difficult time heating up. The broil seems to work, but it seems the baking element may be going out. I don't think it has gone completely out though, because the bottoms of pizzas still get cooked if we leave them in long enough. What bake element would be the correct one to use? Anything else we should do? Thanks for your help!

Trent December 23, 2015 I have an old built in GE electric oven circa 70's/80's but still in great working condition. However, the bake element cracked and I can't locate a model number anywhere. All that is on the oven is "J.724T1CO 3.8 Y101400 8Y" as far as I can read. I'm unsure of what replacement element to use.
