Johnny I Clinton , MO June 12, 2017 Appliance: General Electric Electric Dryer BJLR473ET0WW Won't start and making a squealing noise when trying to start After tearing into the dryer and cleaning out all the lint I ultimately determined the dryer motor needed to be replaced along with some other items. Why not replace some old, worn out parts while I had the dryer tore apart. Now it's running like a new dryer at half the price to repair compared to buying a new one. Keith S Colorado Springs , CO May 12, 2018 Appliance: Model I DON'T KNOW MODEL NUMBER The dryer was squealing and we thought it was probably the belt After looking at other posts and taking the dryer apart as suggested in the video, we determined that it was worn or missing bearing glides. Also noticed that the part where the glides go was cracked. We were lucky to just find the picture of the part we needed as we did not have a model number to order by. The lady we spoke to was very apologetic for not being able to help us without the model number. We ordered on line and it was a piece of cake to fix. Read More...
