How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3417082 / WB06X10288 Grease Filter

Changed them. 

Just pop them out and install the new one's 

I found your web site with no problems. Thankfully it was right on top of the list on Google. Having the make and model numbers of the appliance was a necessary item. I found the replacement parts almost immediately. I oprdered them, and they were delivered ahead of schedule. I was able to replace the parts immediately. They fit perfectly. Having the parts list from your site was beneficial too in order to know how the filters installed. So, overall, my experience was perfect. Thanks for having all I needed even beyond the parts! 

Ordered new filters and replaced them. 

Found a short instruction video on YouTube and followed the directions. Unscrewed bottom of my over-the-range microwave. Removed old motor. Replaced with a new motor. Rescrewed the microwave bottom onto the microwave. 

I took the old, grease -filled filters out, and put in the new clean ones. no problem. 

Replaced all 3 parts ordered from your company. 

Remove top panel held in place by two small screws. 

Removed the old ones by sliding it out and removing it. Then slid in the new ones. 

Easy job, it took 10 minutes to replace both grease filter's. The new filter mate rial doesn't seem to be as dense as the originals. Had forgotten how much air a clean vent filter actually moved. Since replacing the filters, I haven't had to clean the grease build-up above and around the microwave door.
