How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3417082 / WB06X10288 Grease Filter

Replaced coupler. 

1) took out screw that held cover over bulbs 2) removed two burned out bulbs 3) put in new bulbs 4) screwed the lid back over the bulbs 5) at the same time, replaced the grease filter near those bulbs The website made it extremely easy to find the correct parts within minutes. It also made a very good suggestion, to buy grease filters. We bought this house that is over ten years old and it appears that the previous owners cooked a lot with grease. 

Easy to pull out the old ones and slide the new ones in.

Replaced screens 

Following a video guide, I used a cross-head screwdriver to remove 7 screws at the bottom panel. Then I was able to move the bottom panel to access the turntable motor, which was easily replaced by removing two screws and detaching and reattaching an electrical connector. This also enabled me to clean grease residue at the bottom of the microwave, before reattaching the bottom panel. In addition, the one bottom surface light was easily replaced by unscrewing one screw and moving a bottom light panel down. Both repairs would be fairly easy for someone with moderate mechanical skill. 

To take away the old one and install the new one.
