We looked at U Tube for how to do it. After installed the burner light would not go off. We called again and found out there was another switch that might be the problem. they shipped that part which was easy to install and done it is now working. the parts together cost about $100. A service call without parts was $120. A good savings and not hard to repair. John M Fredericksburg , VA January 19, 2019 Appliance: Model GE SPECTRA OVEN Oven bulbs blowing in less than a week Replaced oven light receptacle..old receptacle had burned center contact and the rivets connecting the wiring lugs at the rear of the old receptacle had loosened. New receptacle fixed problem, no more "eating light bulbs". Also replaced front burner "infinite" switch to fix indicator light not going out when comtrol in OFF position. Both repairs easy.
