George March 29, 2024 Purchased the infinite control switch WB24T10058 for a GE EER3001L02SS , the old switch has 8 wires, the new switch has only 6 connection points… I know the jumper will not be used but I still have 6 wires to plug in, is there a wiring diagram or something to help with rewiring things. There is a black wire, blue wire, red wire, yellow wire, blue/yellow and blue/white. Thank you
1 Answer George, the wires will go as follows: terminal L2 will go to terminal P1, L1 to P2, P to pilot, H1 to 4, and H2 to 2. Read More...
Rich January 29, 2022 for Model Number JBP82WF1WW The right front range burner (dual burner with small/large concentric burners; turning switch to the left control small burner and turning to the right controls large burner) on my stove seems to have faulty temperature control. I want to replace it but there appears to be 3 different 'Part #19' and I'm not sure which one to order. Do I need Infinite control switch AP2622889, or surface burner switch AP4363783, or range surface burner control switch AP2024076? Why are they all labeled part #19 on the schematic? Which one is for the right front dual burner? Also, I took the control switch out and it has 9 different contacts, including 2 that are connected via a black jumper. None of the 3 switches labeled as #19 have that many connectors on the back. My original switch is stamped with the number 50.55073.037 The current switch connects to 3 blue wires, one yellow wire, one red wire, and 3 black (2 of which are jumpers). Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! -Rich
1 Answer Rich, the infinite switch WB24T10153 would be used with the model number provided for the right front element. The new switch does not use the black jumper wire. Read More...
Doug July 14, 2020 for Model Number JB645DT1WW I have the GE model JB645DT1WW with 5 burners. The largest burner, front right will only operate constantly. I have ordered the infinite control switch part number WB24T10153 but the wiring connections on that switch are different from the original. Another web site calls for part number WB24T10058. Can you tell me the correct part number for the switch in question?
1 Answer Hello Doug, the right front large single burner's infinite switch is (WB24T10153) WB24T10153 as per the manufacturer. Read More...
Ercole V. January 19, 2019 for Model Number JBP24B0B4WH Light indicator for hot coil is always on. What part do I need to repair it?
1 Answer Hello Ercole, you'll want to test the infinite switch. You can test it two ways (both ways the switch should be off), for continuity you'll test it from L1 to P, the one that shows continuity is defective. If you test with live voltage, the one that shows voltage on P to ground is defective. Hope this helps! Read More...
Matt February 20, 2018 for Model Number JB650ST1SS In response to my other question. Model number JB650ST1SS. Burner was stuck on. Replaced the infinite switch as the other one was completely fried. The burner is still stuck on!
1 Answer Hello Matt. Make sure the switch you replaced is for the one that is staying on. If so, then you need to check the wiring on the unit. It sounds like something is grounded out and is allowing the power to bypass the switch to turn on the element. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Emily December 12, 2017 for Model Number JB400DP1WW we bought a new dual element for the front right burner. The new burner is in but now only the center works, when you switch it to try both burners just the center still works? help
1 Answer Emily, First check the rocker switch circuitry and wiring WB24T10167 / WB24T10167 SWITCH ROCKER ELEM (WH). This is how the L2 power is routed to the outer ring of the element. If the rocker switch is OK, then replace the burner infinite switch WB24T10058 / WB24T10058 RANGE INFINITE CONTROL SWITCH. Read More...

Koon August 30, 2014 for Model Number JBP78W0B2WW I need to replace my Dual Burner Switch. The part number on the switch is 164D3897P001. It seems this is WB24T10031 which has 5 connectors. The replacement is WB24T10058 which has 6 connectors. I would like to find out whether the new switch come with cross reference wiring diagram or where can I get it before buying this switch. Thanks.
1 Answer Koon, based on the model number given the replacement dual element switch is part number WB24T10058. No, the switch does not include wiring instructions. Plug the wiring up to the same terminals (L1, L2, etc) from the old switch to the new switch. The extra terminal can be left empty. Thanks. Read More...
David March 03, 2014 I need instructions on how to install this part. There are two terminals missing from the new switch. S1 and S2 on the new switch are not there. There are slots in the housing for the terminal tab, but the tabs are missing.
1 Answer Hello David, If there are two terminals missing, you have received the infinite switch for a single element where you needed to have received the infinite switch for a dual element. We cannot give you any further information without being able to reference the unit you have. For this reason, we need you to verify the model number from the units' I.D. tag so we can pull the information needed to properly assist you. Read More...
