How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5953771 / WB21X22134 Oven Temperature Sensor Assembly

Replaced the sensor assembly and that resolved the issue.

Ordered a new sensor and also ordered the appropriate light bulb to replace the burned out oven light. Order process was quick and easy. Delivery was a day earlier than stated and the repair went smoothly and quickly thanks to the repair video that is conveniently located on the website. Oven is working correctly now.

Watched your repair video for Oven temperature sensor. Ordered new GE sensor from your site. Replacement made according to video, including door removal. Tested oven to 425 degrees, opened door to bring temp down to 390 degrees. closed oven door and temperature rose back to 425 degree setting, as it should. Issue resolved. Oven temperature sensor received was a exact replacement for older GE Profile Spectra Convection Oven. The Video was simple and straight forward. Next repair will be the convection fan motor.
