How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2044450 / WH01X10001 Washer Suspension Rod Support

I replaced all 4 suspension rods and springs and now it spins very smooth. They weren't broken, just badly worn. It gave new life to my 15 year old GE Profile washer. They are basically springs, so they wear after a while. It was well worth the hour I spent fixing it. You need a good long reach to get to the back 2 and you have to take off the dampening straps and the control panel so you can gain access. All in all, I'm happy with the repair, although I though that these parts are bit pricey for what they are, but at least the labor was free. If you watch the video online, anybody can do this repair. 

I viewed the instruction videos on Appliance Parts Pro's web site for all of the parts. Replaced all 4 suspension rods and spring assemblies, rod supports, and washer tub dampening straps. Also replaced the washer agitator coupler due to the rattle when moving the coupler by hand. 

I replaced the 4 suspension rods and I SHOULD HAVE REPLACED THE SUSPENSION ROD SUPPORT but I didn't, therefore it doubles the repair time. 

Replaced the suspension rods. 

Replaced Shaft and Tube Assembly with new OEM Assembly. 

We searched our GE Model, and found the video and schematics. Took the cover off and figured out where the noise was coming from, and searched for the parts. $20.00 and 3 days later, washing machine is working great. Excellent delivery time with reasonable prices!
