How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3995255 / WH11X10049 Timer Dial

Your instruction video saved me a lot of time and the parts fit great. 

Removed both the timer dial and the control knob and the clip, with a screwdriver, I think the old timer dial was fine but for the price I ordered it and used it. Very easy install! maybe 3 minutes 

I bought a new knob and ring and clip from AppliancePartsPros and popped it on my washing machine in 30 seconds. 

Take off the old one and replace it, very easy to do it! 

Replaced the control knob assembly and timer dial. I didn’t realize the control knob assembly came with a timer knob clip so I purchased it but didn’t need it. The gears were stripped pretty bad on the control knob assembly and also on the timer. I will need to replace the timer or timer gears (if possible) at a later date. For now, it’s working much better. 

I bought a new washer and dryer. And I was going to have the old ones hauled away. I found a family that did not have a washer and dryer. I knew my dryer was still good and I thought maybe I could make my washer useable. So I decided to try and repair the washer. I spoke to your representative and ordered the parts. This was not normal for me to try and fix an appliance. It was a bit costly, I spent about $150, but the washer is now being used by a family who needs it. 

Ordered new and it works great! 

With new knob perfect fix. Working like a charm. 

Ordered and replaced timer dial and knob. it only took about 2 minutes if that, and works like a dream. I didn't think it would be so easy but it was. Also thanks for having the parts I needed at such a low price on hand. i will be doing all of my future business with you. 

Replaced the timer control after watching the video on-line and ordering the part.
