How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3995255 / WH11X10049 Timer Dial

Replace the Timer Dial and a Control Knob. 

Took about 20 minutes to access and replace the assy. Easy fix and works great! Excellent service and delivery. How to video was a great reference. Getting the plastic clip off the knob was the only challenge being wedged between the knobs. Once off the rest was easy. Thanks Al 

Installed a new timer. Really simple to do 

.I logged on to Appliance Parts Pros. Entered the make I could not find a model #. But did not need it because the make and description were enough. Found . Ordered it. and it came to me quickly like 2 days. I installed the new dial and the washer works. I told the people, I fixed it. 

Replace and install. Very easy and the exact replacement part. 

Replaced both. 

With a pair of needle nose pliers I removed the plastic hook holding the top part of the knob. Then the flat dial which showed where the washer was in the cycle had cracked. So I used the needle nose pliers to remove the metal band that fit around the metal rod. 

While searching for parts I found your videos which were perfect for solving my problem, helped me understand the parts I needed and how to remove/replace the parts easily. I am a VERY happy customer. 

Put it on the washer and put the plastic clamp on. 

I ordered a new control knob and timer dial. It arrived quickly and I installed it within minutes using a needle nose pliers. As before, using Appliance Parts Pros was very easy and their customer service is first rate. I highly recommend them.
