I ordered a new knob and timer dial since I was not sure if I needed both and replaced them both. Turns out the knob teeth that turned the dial, were worn all the way down. Geraldine M H Southampton Township , NJ November 14, 2017 Control knob would not engage and spun freely Watched a video on youtube and it looked so simple to fix I ordered the part and bypassed a service call. It was SUPER easy to pull a little clip holding the dial on and then just taking it off. Slip the new one on and your done. I did replace the dial and the larger plastic back plate (with the black arrow indicator on it) I wasn't sure if I need to do that (I didn't) but I played it safe. Read More...
