How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5806905 / WE04X20089 Timer

Opened back, removed old timer and installed new one. 

Was very easy 15 mins at the most. I also replaced the knob. The knob had a ring of metal on the back to keep it from cracking which I was happy to see. 

Replaced the dryer timer 

Replaced timer and cracked know. Exact part and works great now! Thanks! 

Got the part from Appliance PartsPro in record time! It was exactly right and just had to plug in the electrical connections like the old one was connected and it was done in less than 20 minutes and works great!!! (Do remember though that you may have popped a circuit out when the old timer went and you may need to check the breaker box.) 

I ordered the replacement parts from your company. The employee was very helpful in ordering the correct parts. Delivery was quick, had parts in 2 days(with standard shipping). It took maybe 10 mnutes to exchange the parts on the dryer. All is good, dryer works like new. 

I had the timer and knob replaced. 

Ordered new timer and knob based on the model dryer I had. Unscrewed top panel on the back of the dryer. Removed the broken timer and held it side by side to the new timer. I switched the wires one by one to the new timer and then put it back into the slot. Screwed the back panel back on and put the new knob on and it worked perfectly. 

Replaced both 

Honestly didnt know what was wrong.. but as I turned the knob I could see I was getting a connection. So I took a picture of the timer to ensure I was ordering the right part. Success it works!!
