How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5806905 / WE04X20089 Timer

Replaced timer 

Followed u tube video step by step 

Ordered Timer - replaced - then noticed it could have been Knob too 

I googled how to repair my GE dryer as well as googled GE parts. I found appliancepartspros.com. Ordered the parts I needed, received them in a couple of days and replaced the old parts. I not only saved money by not having to call a repair man, but saved money by ordering the parts on line opposed to ordering from a local appliance repair shop. 

Needed no tools mine had notches in it 

I Googled about the problem, and I got a suggestion that it was the part that I ordered it was a very easy fix 

Replace timer and knob 

Purchased new timer and knob. 

Replaced the timer 

Replaced the timer.
