How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5788219 / WE4M532 Dryer Timer

We bought the dryer brand new, and after about a year the switch got very hard to turn. We had to use pliers to turn it for a year and then it finally broke all the way. So we bought a new switch, replaced it and voila we are back in service. 

We noticed the Dryer didn't stop when it was time to stop. Looked up the Model, searched the Internet and found appliancepart.com, they had the specific Timer. We purchase and had it in my hands in four days. We copied the way the cables were on the old timer before removing it. In five minutes we had it installed and all it took was a Phillip screwdriver. The Dryer is as good as the new one we almost had to buy. Thanks again appliancepart.com. 

Sears said it would cost $150 for the part and $150 for labor. I got the part from you for $65 and in under 5 minutes installed it by popping up the top part of the dryer and just unhooking 4 parts and re-hooking the new timer. I COULD NOT BELIEVE the savings, the hassle that you saved me!! Thank you Appliance Parts PROS!! 

I received the replacement parts on time. All three parts were the correct ones needed to fix the problem. The job took about 20 minutes. No problems.

I took a picture of how the old one was installed. Replaced the new one using the picture as a guide Worked like a charm. 

Took out couple of screws. Removed old one. Very easy fix! Ordered on Sunday night and had it by Tuesday! ! Wow.
