New dryer knob was ordered and installed. Additional part ordered was not required, but I decided to keep the timer for possible future need. I'm surprised that GE used to be a great name in appliances. The dryer performed well until the warranty period expired by a matter of days, and GE wanted $300 to come to the residence for repair. Very disappointing. However, the saving grace was being able to locate the products I thought I might need for a "do it yourself" repair. I was extremely happy with the staff at Appliance Parts Pros...as always .... gave pleasant, swift and accurate service in assisting me with part numbers for the order and with placing the order. The delivery was on time as expected. Never disappointed with Appliance Parts Pros. I have used their services for several years. I do appreciate having a go to for simple repair jobs that I... as a woman am able to perform myself. Kudos and thanks again to the staff at Appliance Parts Pros.com (The staff are to be commended... each and every time I order a part....No Problems). I recommend for all who do DIY repairs. Savings to the consumer are really large.
