How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2033716 / WB56K20 Window Pack

1. Removed the oven door from hinges by putting door in the broil position and lifting straight up 2. Placed door on flat surface face up and removed all screws around the side perimeter, removed front cover 3. Removed the hex screws from metal internal cover, removed cover from glass 4. Removed hex screws holding damaged glass kit, removed and replaced with new glass kit. 5. Replaced all parts, and door on oven hinges. 

After talking to GE, my husband contacted appliance parts and found out GE had given him the wrong part number. We live 90 miles outside the nearest sizable city and even there they would have ordered parts. We ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pro and it came in faster than expected. My husband being a handy man was able to install it. Wonderful experience. 

I ordered the replacement glass pack. I replaced the glass. DO NOT remove the screws on the bottom of the door, only the middle four, I did. This caused the outer glass to slide out when I moved the door out of the way. This caused the repair to take longer. It took about 1 1/2 hours. 

Ordered a replacement from Appliance Parts Pros- they were extremely helpful, shipment was fast and it was packed very well. I am back to baking again, and happy as can be! Ordered a new windpw pack from AppliancePartsPros.com and installed it. 

I ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros.com. Found the YouTube on replacing the glass on this model. pretty simple. 

Removed the upper door. Removed the inner shield and internal glass. Replaced the entire Window Pack with the replacement part. 

I watched a video, ordered the part, part arrived in 2 days which was great, and it took longer to clean the door than it did to replace the glass. 

Replaced the Window Pack.
