How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5669929 / 4774EN3002A Hinge Pin

Replaced drum bearings, rear drum seal, main tub seal, lower tub to drain pump hose, all 3 tub shock absorbers and the cold water inlet control valve. 

I replaced the damaged parts. Although a fairly significant project, your videos made it much easier. Thank you. 

Replaced the shocks. wasn’t too hard. There are videos online of how to change them for most washers. 

I changed the drain pump, replaced the nasty moldy-looking door gasket & the 2 tub shock absorbers, The replacement parts arrived very fast (2 days) watching the available online videos made this repair a lot easier. I will use AppliancePartsPros.com for all my appliance parts needs. 

Was quoted $391 and 6 to 8 weeks to fix our LG washer. Found the parts on here for under $200 and fixed it myself in 2 days. Thanks! 

The video made replacing these items easy. Getting the inner tub separated from the back of the outer tub posed the biggest problem, however with a larger hammer and a bolt screwed into the inner tub and a lot of penetrating oil, it eventually was separated. 

After doing a little research it seemed likely that our 7 year old LG's suspension system was getting old. We're getting very loud sounds on our spin cycle. A lot of start-up of spin and then stopping to rebalance occurring within the machine and intermittent unbalanced load error where the machine stopped the cycle completely to display an error. We replaced all three shock absorbers and the two suspension springs and our washer is back to what seems like better than new. Quieter with successful spin cycles even with large loads of wash. The hardest part was getting the new springs back in place. Thankfully my husband was around after I failed to be strong enough/have enough leverage due to my height to get them back onto their hooks.
