How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP4501410 / EBR41531302 Main Electronic Control Board

I woke up one morning and when I opened the fridge the light did not turn on. I thought maybe the bulb went out but soon realized the fridge wasn't working. The mircrowave clock was blinking so I new the power must have went out that night. I thought maybe the breaker had kicked but after checking I realized the fridge was dead. I did a quick search on my computer to see if other people had this problem and I found other stories of the LG refrigerators having problems with the main electronic control board. I read that it was simple to replace so I figured I would give it a try. I overnighted the part and put it in, took me about five minutes and the fridge was back running again.
