How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP7220429 / 4581EL2002L Roller Kit

The dryer is 10 years old. I replaced all 4 roller wheels. While I had it apart I also replaced the drive belt and the idler pulley assembly. Once I had it apart I did find 2 wheels that were very worn, (1 front, 1 back) which is what I believe the problem was as they were also very hard to spin. Dryer works like new now. The repair video was VERY helpful. 

By watching your video i was able to take it apart and change the roller and drum in about 45 min 

Part was ordered since this was an issue and belt had to be removed. I just ordered that too and replaced it. Fast delivery and parts went on easy. 

We ordered a belt and 4 drum support rollers because we thought if we are going to open the dryer we might as well replace the belt and all 4 rollers. The belt had a little wear and was starting to fray. One of the rear wheels was worn and caused the noise. Your online video was helpful. We decided to change the drive belt, all 4 roller assembly's and the idle pulley. Your video was great and a big help!!! The rollers were worn and belt was stiff and hard. Pulley was worn too. Up and running in 2 hrs. but forgot to check heater fuses so will do the take down one more time as it is not heating properly. Saved $300.00. Will be ordering the heater coils next. Replaced the drum support rollers in the front of the dryer. The left roller had bound up due to lint/hair, and stopped rolling. This caused the drum to rub and flatten a section of the roller. This was all preceded by the roller squeaking. If I would have opened up the dryer when I first started to hear that, it is possible I could have saved the roller and just cleaned the spindle it was on. 

Took top off the dryer first by taking the metel strip off back. Then took the control panel loose on the front and finally took the door off. this let me get to the roller assembly and also the door switch. Replaced these and re-assembled. 

Replaced drum support roller, I also replaced the belt and the pulley, idle 

I watched the video on how to change the belt on my dryer. I removed the drum and replaced the exposed rollers. Reversed the process to put it back together. About an hour to do repair because I cleaned and vacuumed the entire interior. Works great. 

Took it apart and found a flattened front left roller. I ordered the part about 3 or 4PM Wednesday and FedEx delivered it the next morning about 11AM. Fantastic, unbelievable fast time I would say. I was not expecting it for several days not knowing where it was coming from. It took about a half hour to figure out how I had taken it apart and screw it all back together and I had a quiet dryer again. The other three rollers appeared to be OK and the belt was fine. Don't know how many more years it will work, but it is working fine right now. Only cost was $26.26 for the roller with bearing and about an hour of my time.
