How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP7015078 / 6501KW2002B Washer Rotor Position Sensor Assembly

With sensor part ordered the video was very useful and the part fixed my issue no problems! 

I replaced Hall sensor. I followed the repair video that's found on this site. It was super easy to fix. 

Replaced the rotor position sensory switch. Ordered the part on Thursday, selected standard shipping and received the part the next day. The YouTube video by AppliancePartsPros.com was very helpful and stepped me through the entire procedure. 

Replaced Washer Rotor Position Sensor Switch with assistance from Appliance Parts Pros YouTube video. 

Replaced with a new part. 

I replaced the stator many years ago. Recently, the machine started making a “groaning” noise when spinning. It also exhibited “juddering” movements similar to when the stator went bad. Opening only the back of the LG machine, I removed the magnetic flywheel. The stator looked good. Knowing the bearings and spider seemed fine, the position sensor seemed to be the culprit. Very simple to replace. Done in 15 minutes. 

Simply followed the directions via the video available on AppliancePartsPro's website. The video was perfect. The only issue was getting the spline aligned because as soon as you got the rotor near the stator assembly, it would quickly pull in,but not aligned. Needed to try multiple times before I got it.
