Light switch for refrigerator door had a slow death over 4 months and had been dead about 6 months

Ice maker wouldn’t eject ice and the freezer light didn’t work along with the light on the front of the door which should have been activated by the closing of the freezer drawer

After researching the problem, I decided to deal first with the freezer light by replacing the light switch. Many reviews offered hope that the switch would help with the ice maker provided the ice maker motor was working, which it was. Replacing the switch was easy thanks to the video provided by AppliancePartsPro.com. The lights are now working along with the ice maker. I couldn’t be happier with this entire transaction.
