How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP6225255 / DC34-00025E Washer Lid Lock And Switch Assembly

Replaced door latch switch first----no change. Replaced circuit board and worked like a charm. This is the place to buy parts! I watched the diy videos and had no problems with repair. Took all of 10 minutes to replace both parts! This saved me a very expensive house call! 

Used a scribe to push the lock bolt back in. That wasn't the real issue. Found out through some other level of trouble shooting that my main board is bad. But this was truly a no brainer repair and was easy. 

I watched the video 3 times before I began the repair. I have never worked on a washer before but thought after watching the video, "I can do this." These errors are due to constant unbalanced load and lid lock issues. For the unbalanced load, it is recommended to replace all four suspension rods, and for the lod lock, the electronic module need to be replaced. I found via cross reference that there was a better (upgraded) version of the suspension rods available for a couple dollars more. I ended up getting all four and the lid lock. The repair videos were very detailed and an EXCELLENT source and I went over them twice since I've never performed any repairs to a washer before. I received the parts in 2 day sand I followed the instructions to the letter and even for doing this is the very first time, it took me 35 minutes from the time I unplugged the machine, to the time I ran a test load! The device repair company wanted $475 to fix these issues. Cost me $165 shipped and the machine is as good as new. Couldn't be happier with Appliance Parts Pros. love you guys!!!
