Ice maker was leaking from underside making 1 giant ice cube !

Replacing the ice maker was very easy in about 10 minutes . 7 screws and 1 plug . i watched a quick Youtube vid to make sure i got it right .. ! part was perfect and shipped quickly .. !

The plastic gears that move the finished ice broke. had to buy whole replacement for maker

Water not filling on ice maker

Water was not filling on the icemaker and I wasn't sure if it was the ice maker or water inlet valve. Took a chance on it being the ice maker since that seemed easier to swap out. It was easy to swap out and now works perfectly again, hooray!

Ice maker not making ice

Not making ice

Replaced ice maker assembly. Video available was a BIG help although I have replaced the ice maker twice, before. Hardest part was using flat-bladed screwdriver to compress tab behind unit at top left. Just in case ANOTHER replacement is needed, I marked the tab location with Sharpie. I did have to wait a few days for out-of-stock delivery using ice trays in the meantime!!
