Joshua January 15, 2024 for Model Number DA97-11092B My the rotating dispenser will freeze in the ice and is prevented from rotating all the way around. I can manually remove the ice and it will rotate and dispense water, but it will once again get frozen in the ice. Do I need a new icemaker, or is there a different issue. Tanks in advance. -Joshua

Josh August 03, 2022 for Model Number RS265TDRS/XAA Hi, I just replaced the ice maker on my listed model Samsung refrigerator and did the reset cycle. I only got enough water to partially fill 3 of the cube trays. I’m assuming I need to replace the water valve. Am I correct? And can you provide the correct part number for the valve? Refrigerator manufacture date is June 2011.
1 Answer Josh, if the water dispenser operates properly, the valve DA97-07827B would be the likely cause of failure. It would also be recommended that the fill tube is inspected for a partial ice blockage and cleared if necessary. Read More...
Martin May 12, 2022 for Model Number RSG257AARS/XAA-00 I am noticing a slow drip forming below where the left most ice cube drops from. After a day there's a thin icicle about an inch long. Ice is being made and everything is perfectly functional. Curious if there could be a small crack somewhere causing the leak or excess water isn't being dispersed properly? Maybe a drain that's not empty in the door? The part that matches what I am looking for is DA97-11092B.
1 Answer Martin, based on the information provided, the ice maker DA97-07549B (This ice maker has a 12 pin connector on the harness. For a 10 pin connector use part number DA97-06364B) would be the cause of failure. Read More...
Kevin December 23, 2020 for Model Number RSG257AARS I have a DA97-11092B ice maker in a Samsung RSG257AARS refrigerator. It stopped making ice a few days ago. The ice cube trays have frozen water in them. They do not seem overly full, like its a problem of too much water. It appears the ice maker is not pushing the existing cubes out. I warmed it with hairdryer then pressed the reset button and it went through one cycle of pushing the cubes out and refilling with water. So it put the cover back one and left it alone overnight. I have the same issue this morning, frozen cubes in the tray that seems to be unable to push them free. Is there a warming element in this thing that could be defective? That would require a whole new DA97-11092B?
1 Answer Kevin, Based on the information provided I would first check the temperature at the ice maker area to be sure it is reaching the cycle temps. 0° to 8°F. If the temp is being reached then the ice maker is faulty and would need to be replaced. If the temps. are not being reached then you would have a cooling issue. Read More...
Andrew October 15, 2020 for Model Number RSG307AARS/XAA-0001 Hello, I am in need of some advice please! My ice maker stopped making ice, so I replaced the ice maker and all was good again. Five months later, no ice. Only a little bit of water coming into the first slot of the ice maker. So, I replaced the water valve. That did not help. So I replaced the ice maker again. But that didn't help either. So current status is brand new ice maker, brand new water valve, no frozen water lines...why would my ice maker still not be getting enough water/ making ice? Is it a control board issue perhaps? Water pressure is fine and water dispenser works. Thanks for any advice.
1 Answer Andrew, It sounds likely that the water valve is possibly not getting power to it in order to open and fill the icemaker. It would be recommended to test to make sure that there is power to the icemaker solenoid on the water valve and if there is not then the control board will be the likely cause for this issue. 1 Answer Cinthia, the reset button would be located on the right side of the icemaker and can be located by the white rubber button on the ice maker motor. Read More...
Alex July 11, 2020 for Model Number DA97-11092B Ice maker isn’t working. The ice tray has ice in it but won’t dispense into tray. I tried pressing the reset button but it makes a very soft sound every 10-15 seconds. It sounds as if the motor isn't working. The sound is like a soft quick hum. Do I need to replace the ice maker?
1 Answer Alex, if the icemaker is receiving proper voltage, then the ice maker would need to be replaced. Read More...

1 Answer Thomas, this could be an issue with the ice maker not sending the proper signal to the main control to call for water. If the model number of your appliance could be provided in a new inquiry, it will allow for the most accurate information to be presented. Read More...
