How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4141349 / DA61-03230B Refrigerator French Door Hinge

Replace hinges and spring. Online instructions were key (e.g. to find hidden screw) 

Replaced with parts from parts pro that I received the next day exactly when promised. The repair video on their web site was awesome easy to understand. 

Followed instructional video provided by appliancepartspros.com. 

Having the step by step video made this fix actually enjoyable! 

2 new door hinges, new lower spring and small plastic sleeve for spring.Watched video and fixed, Keep in mind the guys on the video have done the repair many times on parts that remove easily. Use plastic smugger if possible to work on plastic to keep from buggering it up. 

I ordered the parts from you, which came early, that was nice. I watched the video on your site on how to replace door hinge. I replaced in 10 minutes. Door works like new now. Thanks for all your insight and help, video was great. Bobby C. 

Ordered the replacement spring with the recommended pin that takes up the slack of the wear that the old spring wallowed out. Replaced spring in under 5 min. Total cost under $15.00 usd. Part arrived in a very timely manner. Definitely using this site for future repairs. 

I looked for the parts at appliancepartspros.com. Found them and place them on order. received them after a couple of days. 

Just put the spring in. After reading other repair stories noting that spring had enough give to just force in, I did not attempt to take off the whole panel as others suggested. With a few tries and a few minutes, I got the spring in and completely fixed the issue. I bought the hinge b/c it seemed like others had bought both together, but I did not need it and just used the new spring. 

Followed directions from other customers. Read throughly their reports to not make mistakes they had made. First repair for me on this fridge. Successful! Used guitar picks and rags around screw driver when prying off painted "metal looking" piece in order to not scratch it.
